Shutters have been used as an adjustable window covering for centuries. The look is clean and the design is functional. Opened louvers allow high light penetration. Adjusting the louvers varies the light penetration down to full closure. Shutters provide a finished look but valances, draperies, and other accessories may be added to complement any decor. 

Our SunQuest Shutters, from Skandia, are made from Polyresin 3, a color fast compound with U.V. stabilizers designed with a strength and durability far surpassing that of traditional outdoor vinyl, yet retaining a special warmth and feel. These shutters will not warp, shrink, chip, peel or fade, and never need painting.  Polyresin 3 is fire retardant and it is safe to use in your home, as well as in public access areas. Ideally suited for use above kitchen sinks and in bathrooms of other high humidity areas. 

SunQuest Shutters have no unsightly staples which may rust, and they will not warp or crack. The factory installed two part hinge makes removing the shutter panels quick and easy for cleaning and total access to windows. Hinges are available in brass or are color matched to the shutter. SunQuest Shutters help to reduce heating and air conditioning costs, and reduce outside noise.  The Polyresin 3 shutter is the easiest shutter to clean with just soap and water.  

The availability of 2 1/2" and 3 1/2" louvers provide the look and quality you desire in a shutter. SunQuest provides a durable 100% opaque louver that is manufactured using modern manufacturing methods.  The Polyresin 3 compound features a permanent finish and is resistant to dents and scratches. Scratches, should they occur, can be removed without harming the finish.
